Levi's preschool graduation

And in the blink of an eye our "baby" has graduated from preschool. Where oh where does time go? He was all smiles and had a fun time. Onto Kindergarten!

Birthday boy...8 years old!

Micah is 8! Crazy how fast time goes. We had a fun day celebrating him. We started the day with blueberry pancakes, Dad grilled bacon wrapped pork chops for lunch, had brownies, opened gifts and then enjoyed Dad grilling BBQ pork ribs. He enjoyed his day. He is excited about a shopping trip to spend his birthday money now.

Soccer

We have enjoyed Spring soccer and this last weekend was the last games. It was Levi's first year and Dave was his coach. Both had fun. Micah and Ethan also had a fun year.

Track and Field day

While Dad and Mom were in Seattle the boys had track and field day. Grandpa and Grandma went and watched them and took pictures. They said it was a warm day but fun.

 Levi off and going.
Three good looking boys!

Seattle

Dave had a business trip to Seattle and we decided since he was already there that I should also join him for a bit of sightseeing. He went for a three day class and I followed when he was done. It was the first time I had flown alone but it went well and it was good to see his smiling face at the end in Seattle. Dave's folks were able to come and watch the boys to make this possible for us - Thank you Grandpa and Grandma. We enjoyed two days of seeing the sights in Seattle. One more fun city and state to check off our list. We had a very fun time. Enjoyed being just the two of us and lots of yummy seafood.

We had dinner the first night on top of the space needle and this was one view. A great shot of Mt. Rainer in the background. What an awesome experience and view it was from a tall revolving restaurant.

A night shot from the space needle.
We also went to the top of the Columbia tower, 73rd floor and the tallest building in Seattle and second highest in the west coast and had another awesome view.

We took a ferry across the sound and enjoyed catching up with old college friends for dinner the second night after exploring the downtown and market area.
We rented a car one day and drove to Mt. Rainer and also to Mt. Saint Helens. We saw many different weather changes. Snow, rain and sun.
Dave got a little hiking in but my foot wouldn't allow me much hiking.

Our hotel was the Crowne Plaza downtown. We were on the 31st floor and this was our view from our windown...another awesome view.
