Haircuts

It was haircut weekend at the Carlson house. Both boys did a very good job of sitting while Daddy cut. This is the first time Mommy didn't have to hold them and we had no tears! I didn't get a before shot but it is amazing how much more grown up they look after a haircut.

Ethan went first Micah went second

Snow fun

We had a little snow fun last weekend. It was a bit cold but we bundled up and headed out for some much needed fresh air.

Daddy and his boys in their snowfort.

Having fun with their new snowshovels from Papa and Nana. They love them!

Just a cute shot of a little boy who likes to walk around the house with his hands in his pocket.

Daum Christmas

We were finally able to make it to Murdo for Christmas this past weekend. We made it in before the snow and left kind of in the middle of it early Sunday so we could make it home. It was almost a repeat of last year when we went early and left late due to snow. I guess you never know with the weather this time of year. We had a good weekend together as a family even though it was short.

Having morning coffee with Papa.

Now they are ready to help Daddy shovel the driveway! And Ethan can't wait to get outside and try it out. We just need a little bit warmer weather first.

Playing checkers with Uncle Heath.
Dave had fun trying out Heath's snowshoes and has decided they are a must get in his book!

Carlson Christmas

A very white winter wonderland welcomed us home last weekend to Rochester for Christmas. We all made it home without bad roads and were able to enjoy a long weekend of being with family.

The big boys and little boys out for a little snow fun.
The Christmas tree cutting crew. It is fun to go out into the back yard and cut down your own Christmas tree.

Ready to take it into the house for decorations.

Presents!!
Micah decided he needed to start filling Grandpa's shoes or shall we say glasses.
Playing computer games with Uncle Brian.
