Geocaching

We had a family adventure afternoon on Friday. It was a little chilly so just going to play at the park was out but we decided we needed fresh air and an adventure of some sort. Dave and I have been geocaching before but have never taken the boys. We thought they would think a treasure hunt would be fun so off we went. We found 3 out of 4 and everyone had a fun time. It was nice to drive to each cache, find it and then get back in the car to warm up driving to the next. I think we have the boys hooked and can hopefully do it again soon, although winter hit us again today and it is cold and snowy once more. Gone are the 50 degree days for now but Spring is just around the corner and warm days will come again and we can continue our adventures of geocaching!

Lost tooth

Micah has joined the ranks of having lost his first tooth! He came into our bedroom the other morning and said his tooth felt funny. I looked and saw it was hanging on by a thread. I got a kleenex and lightly pulled and out it came. He was very excited and went to school proudly showing off the new gap in his mouth.

Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas. We got to celebrate three times! Once with the Daum family in Yankton, once just the 5 of us in Yankton, and once with the Carlson family in Rochester. It was great fun with all our family. Here are a few pictures of our fun.
Ethan and Micah got a BB gun from Dad and Mom.
 Levi's new puzzle from Micah.
Micah made Mommy a snowman at school.
 Playing with their cousin, Flynn.
 Snow fun!
There wasn't quite enough snow to make it a sleigh ride so we got to have a wagon ride instead.
 Ipad time with cousin, Aidan.
Rocket launching!
