A day at home

We spent today at home due to the thunderstorm raging outside. I haven't seen it rain that hard in a very long time. We were able to get outside later this afternoon for some outside fun though.

Micah and his cheesy smile riding the big boy trike.
Ethan can write almost all of his name and he LOVES doing it. "E" is his favorite to write and the sidewalk is covered in them. We are now going to work on the "A" and "N".

Home to the farm

We headed off to Murdo this past weekend. We wanted to get in on wheat harvest before they got all done. We had beautiful weather for being outside. Both the boys got 4-wheeler rides in, Micah's first and he is hooked! They both also enjoyed riding in the combine with Papa. We had a very enjoyable time, thanks Dad and Mom.

Tractor parade

We headed downtown last night for an old tractor parade. Ethan was very excited and really enjoyed seeing all the tractors. Micah waved at some of them without us telling him too, so cute! And what is a parade without candy?!

Getting candy!
Enjoying the candy. Never leave home without wetwipes!

Painting

We had some paint fun on Friday. Micah really enjoyed getting his hands on a brush and paint and the mess wasn't as bad as Mommy was expecting and she was just a little dissapointed. =) Ethan was careful to paint his spots red and to get them all done. We made muffins too but Mommy didn't get pictures of the mess we made of flour, which was big and fun!

Such concentration!

Tots in motion

Now that swimming lessons are done Ethan is going to tots in motion. It is basically an organized gym time and a great energy burner. It is twice a week and different things are done each day. Ethan is one of the oldest ones and does really well at listening and following directions. Ethan has on an orange shirt and Daddy is in blue.

Walking on tip-toe.

4th of July fun

We had a wonderful day as a family. Church was wonderful, naps were good, a yummy BBQ in the backyard and then out we headed for a fun evening of ice cream, go-karts and fireworks.

Daddy and Ethan getting ready to start the race!

Waiting for dusk and the show to start.
It is darker now and still waiting.
Beautiful!!
