Visiting Daddy...

We got to have lunch with Daddy one day last week. We packed a picnic and headed off for Scotland. We got to see Daddy's office and take him with us to the park for a picnic lunch. It was fun to see where he goes everyday and to see him at lunch was a special treat for us.

Grandma's visit

We have had the privilege of having Grandma Carlson with us for a week. Mommy took a girl trip to visit an old college friend for three days and Grandma came to watch the boys so she was able to go. Ethan and Micah had lots of fun with Grandma and Daddy kept the work fires burning. Grandma came with a bag full of fun but since Mommy was gone she didn't get any pictures. I did however snag a few after coming home. We loved having you here, Grandma, and will miss you!

Climbing

Micah has decided that being down low isn't good enough for him anymore. He has discovered the climbing stage...look out world! Or should we say look out Daddy and Mommy your lives just got a little more interesting. =)

We found him carrying this plastic box around on Saturday and soon discovered what he wanted to do with it. He went from this...

ABC's

Ethan has been having fun making his uppercase alphabet letters. He is so proud of his wall. I have a feeling these are going to be a decoration for awhile. He keeps wanting to do more so maybe next we'll do lowercase, once this Mommy has a little break to recover and find more creativity.

Swimming lessons

We signed Ethan up for swimming lessons this year. He goes twice a week for the month of June. He gets excited each day he goes and can't wait for Daddy to get home so they can go in Daddy's car to swimming lessons. Micah and Mommy went along last night and took pictures. Ethan loves being in the water and has the funnest laugh. He is doing real well and I'm sure he'll be so sad when they are done.

Water fun

We had a busy weekend at our house. Friday and Saturday the Moms had a garage sale and the kids had fun playing. After naps it was outside for a little water and sprinkler fun. The sprinkler was really cool as it sent water spraying all over and the kids loved it. I didn't get very good pictures but here are a few of Ethan with his friend Nathan.

The sprinkler is spread out in the grass between the two balls and has "arms" that spray the water everywhere. I love the laughter and smiles of kids having fun!

Rochester visit

We traveled to Rochester this past weekend for a little fun. We celebrated Micah's birthday with Grandpa and Grandma. Thank you Grandma for the cake! Ethan and Micah then stayed with Grandpa and Grandma while Daddy and Mommy went away for the night. All did well and fun was had by all. The weather was beautiful so there was much time spent outside in the sandbox and pool. Weekends go way too fast!
