Spring activities

The weather has warmed up and we are out enjoying the spring weather. Both Ethan and Micah are involved with soccer. It keeps us busy four nights a week with practice and then Saturday mornings with games. We've had one cold windy game day and one warmer not so windy game day. We took a family adventure one afternoon and stopped at a ball park for a little baseball practice. Ethan will be starting that soon. Dave has also been able to get out the kayak and take a trip down the Des Moines river. We love our outdoor adventures!

Pine wood derby

On Wednesday night we had the BIG race at Word of Life at church....Pine Box Derby! The boys have been working with Dad and building cars to race. They weren't able to place and get a trophy but they had fun and already have ideas as to what to do different for next year. It was a fun evening.
