Nana visiting

This past week Nana came to visit and take care of us. Papa wasn't able to come and we missed him but understand that his tractors and field work needed him. Levi had some sleep issues so Mommy got less sleep so it was great having help with the older boys. Nana took care of her baby so Mommy could take care of her baby. We had fun Nana and miss you!

New toy

Dave has been wanting a kayak for awhile and this past weekend was the weekend of the big purchase. And you can't just buy it and not try it out so off on a family adventure we went.

What a week we have had in the Carlson household. Last week at this time we thought we may be in labor but not totally sure. The contractions got more intense as the evening went on and by midnight it was clear to Mommy that we HAD to get to the hospital. A quick call to the babysitter and we were on our way. We had commented once about how it would be cool to get to the hospital and deliver within an hour our so....well....we got our wish. After arriving at the hospital and discovering we were dialated to a 9 plus the nurses scurried to get ready and an hour later, after about 5 pushes, Levi Edward entered the world! He was 9lbs 14.6 oz and 22 inches long. He came 4 days before he was due and Mommy was glad, an epidural was planned but there was no time. We are thankful for a good delivery, a healthy baby and good recovery for Mommy. What a blessing it is to have 3 sons!

39 weeks

We are all anxious for the arrival of Baby Carlson. The boys keep telling baby to come out so Mommy can play on the floor again and so they can hold the baby. Ethan is still wanting a girl and Micah a boy. Daddy has his vote in for a boy and Mommy is just READY for baby to come out!

Another birthday

Another birthday party for our big boy. Today some friends came from SF to help us celebrate. It was a fun day of play, birthday lunch and cake. Thanks Lewis family for coming and celebrating with us.
