17lbs. 14oz. and 27 inches - we have a big boy! He is in the 100% and off the charts! He is wearing 6-9 but mostly 9 month clothing. Micah is really starting to look around. His eyes are so big and he loves watching the world around him. We got out the exersaucer and he loves it because he can be up and see what is going on around him. He also reaches out to grab things when he is laying under his play gym. What a fun age we are at.Wednesday, September 23, 2009

Backbacking in the Bighorns
After dropping off the rest of the family at Grandma and Grandpa Daum's in Murdo I continued out west and picked up Keith (former college roommate) and his brothers on the way to the Bighorn mountains. We camped 2 nights and gave his brother's their first taste of backpacking. We came home sunburned and exhausted, but thoroughly enjoyed the wilderness experience.

A visit to the farm
We all had a wonderful Labor Day weekend. Dave took a trip to the Bighorns (his pictures to come) and the boys and Mommy went to Murdo. Thank you Papa and Nana for the fun!
Riding the 4-wheeler with Papa. Ethan loves this and he sees lots of deer and rabbits.
Making pizza
Ethan was as big as the sunflowers.
Ethan picking out his jack-o-lantern pumpkin that Nana grew just for him. It is HUGE!

Camping with Daddy
Ethan and Daddy went camping last night just the two of them. Ethan was so excited and even had a new sleeping bag for their adventure. Mommy and Micah went for a few hours but then left them to their fun. They roasted hotdogs, ate smores, played at the playground, went hiking and were going to look at the stars but it was cloudy. They came home full of stories and tired but had a great time.

It is small in the picture but there is a sailboat they are looking at and I think Daddy is dreaming a little. =)

Just because
Life has been a little crazy around the Carlson household lately so I've put this blog on hold. I now have a few good pictures to post so I will. We are still in the process of finishing the bathroom but we are making some progress, slowly. The boys are growing up so fast. Ethan loves talking and is learning so many new things and Micah is getting more alert and observant. Micah was actually laughing with Ethan today...so cute! God has blessed us and we are thankful.
We got rain on Saturday and Ethan couldn't wait to try out the puddles with his rain boots. He wasn't sure at first with the water coming down but it didn't take him long and he was running around splashing and getting soaked.
