1 Week Old

Micah is one week old already. Time flies so fast!

Ethan loves to hold Micah. The expression on his face tells otherwise but he is counting with Mommy as she took the picture and he is saying "three."

Micah David Carlson entered the outside world today @ 9:37 this morning. He weighed 8lb 14oz and measured 22" long. Mommy and baby are doing well and are enjoying relaxing together.

Outside

What a beautiful day to be outside! We took advantage of it this morning and headed to the state park. Daddy and Ethan enjoyed their first hike together, Ethan made it over halfway before asking to be carried. Mommy found a nice sunny spot to read her book and wait on her boys. We then enjoyed grilling out and playing at the park. A wonderful morning spent in the sunshine and fresh air!

37 Weeks!

Just an update on baby and Mommy. We've made it to 37 weeks and are doing well. Everything is ready for the arrival and now we just get to sit and wait for the right moment. Keep checking in as we'll post pictures as soon as we can after the baby comes. Ethan is excited about the baby and loves going to my appointments so he can hear the baby's heartbeat. He is still undecided about a brother or sister, most times he says yes to both. =)

Dad's New Car

My dad just bought me this new car, but I think I'll let him drive it to work most of the time. I'll just let him know when I need it.

Biking with Dad

Spring has sprung! The weather has been beautiful and we've enjoyed being outside more. We bought a bike trailer this past weekend and Ethan loves it! He gets all excited about Daddy coming home so they can go on a bike ride together. Mommy gets left in the dust but I'll soon have my own charge and we'll enjoy walks with the stroller.

Baking day

Ethan and Mommy did a little baking today. It is cloudy and rainy so a great day to stay inside and make yummy smelling things to eat.
Of course you have to taste the goods and he approved 100%.
Ethan then decided the cupboard was a nice seat while Mommy cleaned up.
