Just because

Life has been a little crazy around the Carlson household lately so I've put this blog on hold. I now have a few good pictures to post so I will. We are still in the process of finishing the bathroom but we are making some progress, slowly. The boys are growing up so fast. Ethan loves talking and is learning so many new things and Micah is getting more alert and observant. Micah was actually laughing with Ethan today...so cute! God has blessed us and we are thankful.

We got rain on Saturday and Ethan couldn't wait to try out the puddles with his rain boots. He wasn't sure at first with the water coming down but it didn't take him long and he was running around splashing and getting soaked.

We had a hot day this last week so out came the pool. Daddy came home from work and decided he needed a cool off as well so in he went. Ethan thought it was pretty funny.

Family weekend

We had family here over the weekend helping with home projects. We had some play and not all work.

Shower project

We have started the big bathroom project...new tile in the shower! It will be a work in progress for quite awhile. We just shut the door and ignore it when we don't want to work on it. =)

No more tile, just sheetrock.No more sheetrock, just 2x4's. And this is the stage we are sitting at for now. We'll get ambitious to do more soon, hopefully.

Backyard fun

It got hot enough for the pool. Ethan had fun watering Mommy's flowers. He did play in the pool some but watering was way more fun. We are loving the new backyard and all the space we have to play.

New house

It's ours! We got a crew together and moved over the weekend. Now we are unpacking boxes and finding a home for everything. We love the space and are so thankful to be in a house again.

A fun week

Last week Dave took a trip to Canada for work so Mommy and the boys headed to Murdo. We enjoyed spending 5 days with Papa and Nana. We then headed back to Sioux Falls to pick up Daddy from the airplane and went to see Grandpa and Grandma in Rochester for the holiday weekend. While in Rochester we met some friends at a park/zoo and Ethan loved looking at all the animals. Both the boys traveled very well for all the time we spent in the car. It was a fun week of a mini-vacation.
