Apple Orchard

We headed off to the apple orchard as a family this morning. It was a cloudy, raining day but a fun fall day to be out. Ethan enjoyed the horses, running on haybales and the little train ride. What a fun little explorer we have! We enjoyed lunch and then bought our apples and cider and home we went.

more sheetrock

We found out that under the stairs in the basement had to be sheetrocked, mudded and taped for fire code. Dave's parents came this past weekend and helped get the project done, THANK YOU! Ethan thought it was fun helping just a little.
And now we are officially done with sheetrock!!

a summer afternoon

We spent last evening outside enjoying the beautiful summer evening. Dave and Ethan picked and ate rasberries, Ethan's new fun thing to do. Ethan also got rides around the yard on his trike with Mommy power. He does use Ethan power but Mommy power is so much more fun. =) With Fall around the corner who knows how many more warm evenings we'll have so we'll enjoy it while we can.

Dancing

Ethan doing the hokey-pokey with Grandpa at the wedding. He also had fun chasing the lights on the floor.

Brian and Melanie's wedding

We went to Wichita last weekend to celebrate with Dave's brother at his wedding. It was a memorable weekend! Wichita got a ton of rain so travel around on Friday was interesting. We made it though and prayers were answered for a beautiful day for the outdoor wedding on Saturday. Ethan enjoyed himself and we found out he can dance with the best of them until WAY past his bedtime.
Ethan and Daddy enjoying the banister and some sliding at Uncle Brian's house.

Ethan left the tie on the whole night, we were very surprised.

Ethan dancing with his new Aunt Melanie. (notice how he is holding onto the sippy cup for dear life...Grandpa put punch in it.)

18 Months!

Ethan is 18 months old. Where does the time go? He is a growing boy, weighing in at 29.9 lbs and is 33 inches long. I had him sit down and smile for pictures tonight and he just cheesed out for the camera...too funny! What a joy he is.
