Levi is 5!

And just like that we have a 5 year old in our house. Levi is so excited to be 5. We started his birthday off with a 5 birthday pancake and candles. Daddy did another fabulous job creating a birthday cake for him. He chose Paw Patrol this year. What a bouncing joy this boy is to us. Levi, we love you!

 

 

 

Crazy hair

Last week at Word Of Life at church it was crazy hair night. All the boys had fun telling Daddy how to cut their hair. Levi won first place and Ethan and Micah tied for a prize as well. We then went home and finished the haircuts so they weren't so crazy for school the next day.

Mom's foot

This is our new family adventure. Mom broke her foot due to a stress fracture. We have a lovely pink cast for 6 weeks. It has made life a bit more interesting. Crutches and a fun little skooter have made life a bit easier but it has still been an adjustment. Mom moves a lot slower and can't do near as much as she could. Everyone is learning to pitch in to help a bit more. April 14th, right before Easter, is the cast off date and we are praying for complete healing so that we don't have to take the next steps to heal it.

 

Ethan's 10th Birthday

And just like that we have a 10 year old in the house! Where oh where does the time go? He is such a grown up boy and such a joy to all of us. We love you, Ethan!

Sunday afternoon fun

I finally got pictures from my phone to the computer so I can do some blog updating. A few weeks ago Dave decided it would be a good day to try ice kayaking. There was a little open water near the shore so he could get the kayak in the water and then he also had fun paddling through some ice that was about 1/4 inch thick. He was out for about 30 minutes. The boys had fun exploring a cool tree and having boy fun. It was a bit cool, 30's, but nice fresh air.
