Family adventure

What a beautiful Spring day we had today. It was in the 60's! We of course had to take advantage of the warm and headed out on a family adventure. We loaded the bikes up and headed to Lewis and Clark rec area. We road bikes on the trail, threw ice chunks in the water and played on the toys. We started out with shorts/shortsleeves and ended up putting pants and jackets on as it was a bit cooler down by the water. It was still beautiful out though and we enjoyed some much needed fresh air. Now we brace again for the snow that is in the forecast for tomorrow. Just another reminder that it is still early Spring and not Summer quite yet.

AWANA

It was mustache night at AWANA this past week. We were going to make our own but I found these peel and stick ones at Walmart and the boys loved them. They had a few different shapes to chose from and had fun picking just the right one.

Levi's Birthday

And we have a 2 year old in the house! Levi got to celebrate his birthday truck style this year. He loved blowing out the candle on his cake. We had birthday pancakes for breakfast this morning but Mommy only took a video not a picture. He is our little fireball but a joy to have around and loved by all, especially his brothers. He is all boy and loves doing everything the older ones are doing and can't be left out. Happy Birthday, Levi, we love you! 

Ethan's Birthday

And we have a 7 year old at our house! Ethan celebrated his birthday on Saturday with an army theme. The boys are all about guns and shooting bad guys around this house. Mom is well protected from any bad men who might be moving about. He had a very fun day starting with his pick of strawberry butterbraid for breakfast and then gifts. Micah gave him a gun and the rest of the day was spent putting it to good use. We had an army tank pinata and then cake and ice cream after lunch and off to McDonalds for dinner. He enjoyed his day and all he was able to do. We love our big boy and can't believe how fast time is flying by.
