Camping with Dad

This was Micah's weekend to head off with Dad for an adventure. They went camping at Chief White Crane. They had thunderstorms and rain through the night and early morning but it cleared off and they were able to enjoy their time outside. They cooked hot dogs and smores for dinner and had pancakes for breakfast. No trip to the lake is complete without a little rock throwing as well. They also got to watch a movie about spiders at the ampatheater. A fun time was had by both. Us other three had a fun time at home too.

3 Months

This little, or should I say big, man is 3 months old already. We should know by now that time flies but really, where has the time gone? He is a precious little boy and we all love him so much. He has found his voice and when happy will talk and smile and Mommy heard a laugh the other day. What a blessing from God!

Just some fun

Yesterday was an afternoon of activity at our house. The boys were wanting things to do so Mommy was online at blogs getting ideas. It was a fun filled few hours and nice not to hear, "Mommy, I'm bored."

Ladybug rocks. Ethan says Micah's looks like a dinosaur but I think they are both unique rock ladybugs. We put them outside in the flowerbed this morning

Backpacking

Ethan and Dad headed out on their first backpacking trip this weekend. After a 2.5 mile hike they made it to their campsite. They had pancakes and chocolate chip cookies for dinner (Ethan's pick) and then off to bed. They said it was a little warm to start with but in the night the wind came up and it cooled down. Cinnamon rolls were for breakfast and then the hike back to the car. Ethan was a trooper but needed a little help near the end. They had a great time and Ethan is excited about more backpacking trips with Dad. No pictures to post of the three that stayed home but they had fun as well.

Tooth 2

Ethan has lost tooth number 2. He now has a nice gap in his mouth on the bottom. This tooth we were able to keep and he was excited about that. The first tooth came out unknow and went down with food. He lost this tooth on his backpacking trip with Dad.
