Friend's birthday party

We had one final birthday celebration for Ethan. Since he turned 4 we told him he could invite 4 friends over for a party. We kept the Thomas the train theme but went easy this time and made cupcakes. Three of his four friends were able to come and also two younger brothers. It was one boy crazy time but all had fun.

It doesn't matter that it is still cold outside, these two love having their shirts off. Ethan is usually always running to change into just shorts and Micah of course doesn't want to be left out. They also love to box and that is what they are doing here, except Ethan being silly for the first picture. What goofy boys we had but oh how we love them!!

Going for a ride in their boat. This blanket becomes a boat, race car or whatever their imaginations come up with. Love their creativity and who needs toys!

Another birthday celebration...

We had another birthday celebration with extended family for Ethan. Daddy did another wonderful job on a cake, Thomas the tank engine this year. Ethan was thrilled! It is still hard to believe that we have a 4 year old in our home. What a blessing he has been and continues to be to us.

Ethan's 4th birthday

Today we celebrated 4 years with our precious son, Ethan. He was up bright and early ready for his birthday. We started the day out with birthday pancakes and candles. He wanted to be sung to a lot and he was so excited about his special day. He wanted to open presents right away when he got up and wasn't too sure about having to wait until Daddy got home from work. Mommy and Micah took him out for ice cream this morning and when Daddy got home we opened presents, went to McDonalds and then came home for brownies and ice cream. It is so hard to believe he is 4 years old. What a grown up little man we have!

Ice storm

We had an ice storm hit last week. This is the morning after. The sun came out and the tree outside our front window was illuminated with the sunshine and sparkling so pretty with all the heavy ice on it. We also had some pretty big icicles hanging from our roof.
