Birthday boy!

Our little man has turned 1! I started out his birthday with a birthday pancake and candle. Big brother helped a little with blowing the candle out. After work Daddy came home and we headed to Murdo for the weekend. We had a big birthday party on Satuday with lots of family around. It was a busy but very fun weekend. Thanks everyone who came and made Micah's birthday special.

Walking!

Micah has decided that walking is a must! He has been walking for over a month but just in the past few weeks has ventured out on his own and nothing is safe anymore! He is loving the freedom it brings. Now he wishes he could open the bathroom door for even more fun...

Hiking

What a beautiful weekend weather wise! We took advantage of it and headed out for some family adventuring and hiking. Ethan was a great hiker and walked most of the 2 mile loop but did enjoy a little bit of piggyback with Mom. We then played on the toys and threw some rocks in the water before enjoying lunch out on the way home.

Planting fun

We had some planting fun a week ago. We dug up the non-perenial flowers that the previous owners so kindly planted that died over the winter, they were beautiful last year, and put in some yummy raspberries and rhubarb! Ethan had fun in the dirt as you can tell and hopefully by next summer we'll get to have a small taste of the fruit of our labor!
