a summer afternoon

We spent last evening outside enjoying the beautiful summer evening. Dave and Ethan picked and ate rasberries, Ethan's new fun thing to do. Ethan also got rides around the yard on his trike with Mommy power. He does use Ethan power but Mommy power is so much more fun. =) With Fall around the corner who knows how many more warm evenings we'll have so we'll enjoy it while we can.

We went to Wichita last weekend to celebrate with Dave's brother at his wedding. It was a memorable weekend! Wichita got a ton of rain so travel around on Friday was interesting. We made it though and prayers were answered for a beautiful day for the outdoor wedding on Saturday. Ethan enjoyed himself and we found out he can dance with the best of them until WAY past his bedtime.

18 Months!

Ethan is 18 months old. Where does the time go? He is a growing boy, weighing in at 29.9 lbs and is 33 inches long. I had him sit down and smile for pictures tonight and he just cheesed out for the camera...too funny! What a joy he is.
